Noticeable increase in sales activity

After a relatively slow start to the year both new instruction levels and properties sold have noticeably picked up in the month of March.

Price increases across the nation have also been confirmed by Nationwide and the Rightmove website. The rental market has remained buoyant with good levels of quality instructions freely available. A marginal 3% increase on rents paid have also been experienced during the first quarter of this year.

New build property offering good value

As developers reach the end of their financial year, many attractive deals are available on one and two bedroom apartments.

Prices monitored suggest there is only a small gap between the new and used property market.
