Second Floor Flat, Shirley, Southampton
This rented second floor flat in the Shirley area of Southampton required a new kitchen to replace the existing, dated room and provide a more contemporary space for incoming tenants. The second floor location presented challenges in terms of access, but, in just 12 days, we fitted an entire new kitchen, laid new carpets and vinyl flooring as well as decorating the whole flat. Following our work, an additional £50 per calendar month on top of the existing rent was achieved.
Ground Floor Flat, Shirley
This two-bedroom apartment had been let to long-term tenants who had moved out and, when the landlord who was based overseas decided to update the property, Marques stepped in to carry out some much-needed refurbishment work. We decorated the apartment throughout and laid new carpets and vinyl flooring with all work being completed to our usual high standard within just one week and in time for the new tenants to move in.

This ground floor flat had been occupied by the same tenant for six years and was in need of a new bathroom to provide a more contemporary, functional space for new residents. Dominated by a cumbersome corner bath, the bathroom was soon home to a modern, P-shaped space-saving bath with shower screen helping to breathe fresh life into the flat. We also replaced all flooring and decorated throughout producing a superb uplift in rent of £135 per calendar month.
